After a 1st phase dedicated to training, coaching, and supporting women entrepreneurs to launch and consolidate their activities, the Incubator Women Standing takes a new decisive step: entrepreneurial mentoring.
For six months, the women entrepreneurs will benefit from individual support provided by experienced women business leaders. More than a simple transfer of skills, this mentoring is a true space for exchange, reflection, and trust, where each entrepreneur can share her challenges, strengthen her ability to make strategic decisions, and develop her business sustainably.
To prepare this new system, four future Mentors gathered on the 7th and 8th of July 2026 at the premises of medica mondiale, in Bujumbura, for an intensive training led by Claudette Ngendandumwe, a consultant specialized in entrepreneurial mentoring.
On the agenda: active listening, Mentor posture, goal setting, support for decision-making, and managing delicate situations. Through simulations, role plays, and case studies, they acquired practical tools that they will implement from the first meetings.
Starting in August 2026, they will support the 19 women entrepreneurs who have developed a viable business during the first phase of the project. This mentorship marks a new ambition of the Incubator: to grow sustainable businesses through the power of sharing experiences, trust, and solidarity among women entrepreneurs.
